Supernova stage

The Supernova Theatre is the beating heart of CustomerX.

Supernova is where CustomerX brings the new market into view. Built around customer contexts rather than sectors, it explores the moments in which customers now discover, decide, buy and belong across multiple categories at once.

Through collaborative keynotes featuring three to five leaders, Supernova shows how businesses from different sectors meet the same customer in the same moment, and how they can copy, collaborate and compete to win a greater share of disposable income and discretionary spend.

The "Threenote" Format

We’ve reinvented the keynote for a new era of collaboration...Think of it as the Graham Norton Commerce Couch.

We bring together three industry rockstars from different sectors for an unscripted, high-energy conversation. Sitting on one couch, they move beyond the "what" of their business to the "how" of our collective future.

The focus is simple: Connection, Collaboration, and Customer Attention

To understand the Supernova Theatre, you have to look at the Collisions - where paths meet around the customer.

1. Friday Night Is the New Mall: Owning the Night-In Economy

  • The Couch: Vevo + Just Eat + TikTok

  • The Collision: When a customer sits down to stream, they aren't just a "viewer." They are a diner and a consumer. This session explores how media platforms can trigger hospitality transactions and FMCG purchases in a single, seamless flow, maximising the value of that "Friday Night" window.

2. Airports as the Ultimate Commerce Junction

  • The Couch: Pernod Ricard + TripAdvisor + ACCOR

  • The Collision: An airport is no longer just somewhere you pass through; it is a compressed commerce ecosystem where travel, hospitality, retail, loyalty and digital platforms compete for the same passenger in the same window of time. This Threenote explores who owns that customer moment, how shared identity can connect fragmented experiences, and how businesses can turn dwell time into spend without adding friction.

3. The Always-On Fan Economy

  • The Couch: Unilever + DAZN + SailGP + Uber Eats

  • The Collision: Fandom no longer starts and ends with the match. It stretches across content, gaming, food, retail and lifestyle, creating an always-on commercial relationship. This session explores how brands can connect fan identity across sectors and turn moments of passion into year-round attention, loyalty and spend.

4. The Quantified Life Economy

  • The Couch: Oura + Boots UK + WHOOP

  • The Collision: The dawn of "Bio-Commerce". These leaders discuss how biometrics are reshaping decisions across food, travel, retail, insurance and wellness - and where the opportunity to personalise, prevent and predict collides with the customer’s expectations around trust, consent and value.

Why These Sessions Matter

The Supernova Theatre teaches you to master two essential skills:

  1. Maximise Total Economic Value: Learn to collaborate across sectors to extract the most value from the customer's finite wallet and attention.

  2. Capture Share of Life: Understand how to fit into the story of your customer's habits and aspirations, rather than just competing for a single transaction.
